It's hard to believe how fast the time is going. But Maya turned 6 months old on May 15th.
She smiles all the time, except when you try and take her picture and then she has to be tricked into smiling for the camera. My parents can attest to the difficulty in getting her to smile for the camera. As soon as you put the camera down though, she give you a big toothless grin.
This is the typical photo...and yes, May 15th was a Friday and the yes the Giants were at home, hence the orange outfit.

Baby Yoga
Happy Baby pose done by a professional Happy Baby!
The most interesting thing Maya puts in her mouth these days are her toes. We love to nibble on them too.

Orange Friday #2
Yes, the Giants were at home again this weekend. We managed to take 2 out of 3 from Colorado. This is Guillermo and Maya watching Friday night's game at home.
Yes, that is Maya's very own little Giants cap. It came with the outfit Guillermo bought her on Opening Day. Notice the orange on Maya's collar and sleeves.

Alternative uses for a Boppy
My friend Angelica (who has 13 month old twins) gave me this great idea of using the Boppy to help Maya with sitting up. It works great and is so much easier than trying to hold her up.
Visit with Grandma & Grandpa Elfers
My parents came down for a visit in April. They have seen Maya every month since she was born. No trips are planned for this month, but I'm sure we'll be seeing them again soon.
Nice Kitty
Maya has discovered Munk, our 5 year old grey Tabby cat. She smiles everytime he walks by her and she loves to feel his soft fur. Here she's grabbing it.
Trying to teach her to be gentle.
Munk tolerates it for now. He misses being king of the castle though.

San Francisco Heat Wave
It was 90 degrees in SF a couple of weeks ago. Maya is cooling off next to the fan. And showing how she can sit up!
First Beach Day
We took a trip to Santa Cruz a couple of weeks ago to have Maya's first ever Beach Day. Here she is with Guillermo.
All smiles with Uncle Tim.
Mom and Maya enjoying the day.
