Uncle Jumba, Auntie Michelle and Maya Our friend Van was visiting from Ohio and was the reason for our trip down south. Guillermo, Maya, Van and his daughter Sophie. My cousin Lisa also came over for a visit and to meet Miss Maya.

It's been a busy couple of weeks for the Guerra family. We made trip to Oceanside and Ventura to visit family and friends.
Then it was Christams. We spent Christmas Eve with Guillermo's family in Millbrae and then drove to Santa Cruz to my brother's house.
It's hard to believe that it's New Year's Eve (and Maya is 6 1/2 weeks old). Guillermo is getting ready to go to work. Maya and I are going to spend a quite night at home. Maybe we'll get some champagne when Guillermo gets home (if we're still awake).
Happy New Year to Everyone....yes photos are up next
Ever since Uncle Tim worked at Patagonia, he has kept the family outfitted in fleece, Here is Miss Maya sporting her first one. PS. We love the blanket too!
Maya Bear is my little name for her (along with Muppet) so it was fun to put on her little bear outfit from Grandma & Grandpa Elfers to head out in yesterday's cold weather.
It's so hard to believe that we celebrated Maya's one month birthday yesterday (according to the Roman calendar). We celebrated her 4 week birthday last Saturday in accordance with the Mayan calander. There was a full moon when Maya was born, so it was pretty cool to see the full moon on Saturday and remember her brithday.
She had a check up with the pediatrician yesterday. She now weighs 8 lbs and is 20.5 inches.
Thanks to Aunt Donna and Uncle Rafe, Maya has received her first piece Giants gear. A very warm blanket with an inscription that reads: "Property of Maya F Guerra, Little Giants Fan." We've figured out that she will be about 4 1/2 months old for Opening Day. Let the indoctrination begin. GO GIANTS!
Babysitting is not a one person job at our house! We need one person for Maya and one person for Munk. Lucky for us, Grandma and Grandpa are happy to take on the task.
